Behind The Scenes - Portrait Photoshoot

So let me take you on one of my photoshoots I done recently. :)

This outdoor portrait session was for the winner of a Women's Month competition I sponsored for Leticia Fortuin Makeup Artist.

This was my 3rd shoot this day, and the weather was playing along so well. I prep my camera bag, charge batteries, check memory cards the night before my shoots. So let's go! But first... Makeup by the brilliantly talented Leticia Fortuin Makeup Artist

Having a Makeup Artist is optional on all my packages, and it makes women feel so good when they can just sit back and have their makeup done. I love talking to people and making them feel good about themselves, because you are beautiful after all. Roche is such has such a beautiful soul, and it shows in her pictures. She, just like most women, had no idea what to do on a shoot, but this is where I come in and make you as comfortable as possible... And there we go, your beauty is shown, and you love yourself even more. As it should be. :)

I love finding nooks that make a good background.

My jokes might not be super funny, but it makes my clients smile.

Just asking her to close her eyes shows so much beauty.

And then she realized her beauty...

Just as she turned her head I captured her natural look. I love these moments.

Oh we just had to use this train for her shoot. It was not comfortable. Lol.

She trusted me when I asked her to climb in and just sit in that corner. How beautiful.

So that's just some of what goes on behind the scenes, and ultimately we have fun while capturing beautiful moments.

I absolutely love, and breathe what I do. It's not just photography, it's a heartbeat, a passion that has a heart for people.
